Office First Aid Kit

What will be the responsibility of Human Resources Department? For what I know, they are the one who handle of all the office administration, payroll and manpower recruitments.

My question here: Do you agree that HR department shall be the right person to in-charge of office first aid kit? I just can't believe that my office's first aid kit just maintenance cottons and panadols only. Don't you think that to keep a set of Wound Care and medicine is so important especially in office? This is one of the staff welfare!

I am going to ask for permission to get all that necessary items for emergency and safety purpose. Just wondering why HR didn't take the responsibility to take care of such importance items in office for staff benefit?
